On a beautiful October day in Baltimore’s East Harbor, a sweet couple gathered with all their favorite people to share their vows and have an epic Israeli dance party. Baltimore wedding DJ Jordan said it was one of the most fun weddings of the year, and he would know! He’s provided the tunes for dozens of weddings this year, and hundreds throughout his career.

The party took place at the Baltimore Four Seasons, a beautiful modern venue with views of the harbor and a luxury vibe. The ceremony and reception were held in one of the hotel’s many ballrooms. There are six at the property, plus another dozen smaller function rooms and two terraces. If there’s one thing the Baltimore Four Seasons has, it’s options!

Photographer Ashley Michelle brought her camera skills to the event, shooting crisp and bold images that caught both the gentle, private moments and wild debauch on the dance floor.

Before the wedding began, Matt and Maytal requested “Piano Guys/Bridgerton vibes” for the prelude music. Think classical covers of pop and love songs. For the wedding party’s processional, the couple chose an orchestral arrangement of Clair de Lune by Debussy. This version is from the Ocean’s Eleven soundtrack. It plays at the end when they’re all by that iconic Bellagio fountain. It’s classic and cinematic all at once! Then for Maytal’s entrance, they chose The Piano Guys’ cover of Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

The ceremony and reception were in the same ballroom, so the crowd relocated to the Marine Room while the staff flipped the space. The Marine Room is a lovely corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides that provide sweeping views of the Harbor, including the iconic Domino Sugar sign. So pretty at sunset!

Back in the ballroom, the space was lit by white uplighting for a romantic glow. The couple’s first  dance was to I Get to Love You by Ruelle. We’ve heard this one for first dances a few times this year. It’s super romantic!

Whatever may come, your heart I will choose

Forever I'm yours, forever I do

I get to love you

The couple trusted Baltimore DJ Jordan with quite a few of their musical cues, like the dinner music, cake cutting, and last song of the night. We love when our clients trust us to take care of these little details. It lets us read the room to play something the crowd willl like. Plus, it takes a few of those extra decisions out of the couple’s hands when they already have so much to plan for their wedding day.

The reception for this wedding was a blast. The party went for almost four straight hours, with dancing the whole time. The music was mostly Israeli pop at the request of the couple, and the crowd loved it!

Even in spite of COVID protocols, this wedding was so much fun. Whatever culture you hail from, wherever you want your party to go, we can help. Fill out our online form to get started!
