First, we'll have a quick meeting (in person or by video) to make sure we mesh.
Then, you'll be paired up with one of our brilliant Easton wedding DJs. This person will be available for as many planning sessions as you need to make sure we know your favorite songs and which tunes turn you off.

Tidewater Inn
A Colonial Revival inn built in 1949, with red brick arches, wrought iron railings and paned windows, and 92 guest rooms, so the wedding party and most of the guests may be able to stay on site. Art galleries, studios and boutique shopping are within walking distance. For Justyna and Nick's wedding, DJ Brian Doane played string covers for a courtyard ceremony under an ivy covered trellis, cocktail hour moved between the courtyard and the Rose Room, and the reception filled the Crystal Room, with its crystal chandeliers, herringbone wood floors and floor to ceiling windows, under white uplighting.

Tred Avon Yacht Club
A members only club in Oxford, home to sailing races and lessons. Mike and Amaya married in early October at St. Paul's Wesleyan Church, also called Pilgrim Holiness Church, which dates back to 1865, then held their reception at the club in a white, open sided tent with views of the water. Many of their 125 guests were actors, singers and dancers, and the night had a choreographed group dance and the whole room singing Seasons of Love from RENT.

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay
Matt and Christine's wedding is listed with our Easton stories, but the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is in Cambridge, on the Choptank River, and our Cambridge page covers all five weddings we have written up there. Theirs was in October: a ceremony in the open sided Regatta Pavilion, a reception in the Chesapeake Ballroom wrapped in white draping, and DJ Jordan changing the color of the room with uplighting from moment to moment.

Where do the ceremony and reception happen at the Tidewater Inn?
Justyna and Nick's guests gathered in a quiet courtyard for the ceremony, and the couple said their vows beneath a white trellis covered in ivy. Our venue guide also describes the brick patio with climbing roses as a charming ceremony site, and the inn's gardens for photos. Cocktail hour was in the courtyard and the adjacent Rose Room, and the reception moved into the Crystal Room, with crystal chandeliers, herringbone wood floors and floor to ceiling windows.
Can our guests stay at the Tidewater Inn?
The inn has 92 guest rooms in downtown Easton, so our venue guide notes that the wedding party and most of the guests may be able to stay right on site. Easton is known as the Cultural Capital of the Eastern Shore, and art galleries, studios and boutique shopping are within walking distance, which gives guests something to do before the wedding.
Can you play music from our family's culture?
Yes. Justyna and Nick's reception mixed pop with Polish music to honor Justyna's heritage. DJ Brian said the family and guests who traveled from Poland had some of the most fun energy he had seen at a wedding, and they loved hearing their music. Tell your DJ which songs and styles matter to your families and we will build them into the night.
Can you play string covers for the ceremony?
Yes. At the Tidewater Inn, the wedding party walked in to a string quartet cover of U2's Beautiful Day by StringSpace, and Justyna walked down the aisle to Brooklyn Duo's cover of Can't Help Falling in Love. At Matt and Christine's ceremony, the bridal party entered to a cello and violin cover of All of Me, and Christine to an instrumental guitar version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight.
Have you played weddings in Oxford?
Yes. Mike and Amaya married in early October at St. Paul's Wesleyan Church in Oxford, also called Pilgrim Holiness Church, which dates back to 1865. The reception was at Tred Avon Yacht Club, a members only club in Oxford, in a white, open sided tent with views of the water, for about 125 guests.
Can you handle group dances and sing-alongs?
Happily. Mike and Amaya are actors, and so were many of their guests. Friends from an acting class performed their choreographed dance to The Hustle, with the bride joining in her gown, and the whole room gathered to belt Seasons of Love from RENT. Instead of a bouquet toss they did a cake ring pull, and the last song, Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root, was personal: the groom's uncle is in the band.
Is the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Easton?
No, it is in Cambridge, on the Choptank River. Yes. Matt and Christine's ballroom was wrapped in white draping so our multi-colored uplighting could change the feel of the room from moment to moment, and it bathed the room in pink for their first dance. At the Tidewater Inn, white uplighting kept the Crystal Room warm all night.
