Our nation’s capital has no shortage of gorgeous wedding venues within its borders. With so many historic venues and monuments, areas of natural beauty, and smatterings of modern architecture, there’s a venue here to suit every couple.

Although we’re based in Maryland, we love to DJ weddings in Washington, DC! It’s just a short drive down the road for us, and has a unique energy you don’t find anywhere else.

It was hard to narrow down our favorites, but we struggled through it and chose a few of the best wedding venues in Washington, DC to highlight for you.

District Winery

A wedding at a winery gives you the chance to reduce your number of vendors, making your day easier and less stressful. The venue will provide a full menu of delicious food, staff to take care of the details, and of course, all the wine your party can drink.

District Winery is a stunning modern winery with clean lines and lovely views of the Anacostia River. Couples can take advantage of the barrel room for unique photos, or go for a stroll outside on the riverfront.

When the sun goes down, the city lights glow across the water, providing a dazzling backdrop to the evening’s festivities.

Toolbox

Toolbox is a flex-space that serves as an art gallery, pilates studio, and event venue all in one.

Located in DuPont Circle, this eclectic venue combines both traditional and modern elements.

Warm wood floors and brick walls highlight the historical features of the space, but the bright artwork on the walls and glossy red doors help to modernize it.

The great location gives you plenty of options for pictures! Take a walk down the street for photos in front of the iconic DuPont Circle Fountain. Or head a few blocks northwest to take pictures in front of the quieter Spanish Steps.

DC War Memorial

The DC War Memorial highlights the neoclassical architecture that Washington, DC is famous for. Built in the early 1930s, this round open-air temple on the National Mall commemorates the 499 district residents who died in service during World War I.

The structure is surrounded by lush greenery and mature trees. But the classical simplicity of the white Vermont marble temple is what makes it such a lovely spot for weddings.

There are no facilities here, so it’s strictly a ceremony venue. But with such a central location, your party will be just a scant distance from dozens of reception venue options.
