Lovely Leesburg!

It has a historic, picturesque downtown, beautiful views of the Potomac River, and easy access to Washington, D.C.

It also has dozens of charming wedding venues, ranging from historic mansions to wineries to farms to resorts.

A Leesburg wedding gives your guests a chance to explore the town’s Historic District, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. They can also enjoy the outdoors with golf, parks, and hiking trails.

We waded through our archives to select some of the best wedding venues in Leesburg, VA to share. Although it was hard to narrow it down, here are four of our picks.

Rust Manor House

Gorgeous historic mansion? Check.

Manicured gardens and sprawling grounds? Check.

Rave reviews? Double check.

Rust Manor House has it all. Spread over 68 acres, this property has shady walks and scenic hideaways galore.

Inside the manor, the elegant parlor, dining room, and library are at your disposal for getting ready before the ceremony begins. When the music starts, a flagstone patio leads you straight from the front door of the mansion to to the altar, with stately trees overhead.

And when it’s time to party, a fully-quipped 200-person tent is ready to receive you, with A/C in the summer and heaters in the winter.

See? Everything you need!

Lansdowne Resort & Spa

Couples looking for a resort wedding should look no further than Lansdowne Resort & Spa. Rolling hills, views of the Potomac River, and spa luxury make this the perfect place to feel pampered over your wedding weekend.

Outdoor ceremonies take place on the Potomac Terrace, overlooking the river valley. Extensive grounds allow for plenty of secluded spots for photos.

For the reception, choose from three indoor ballrooms for country club style, modern elegance, or a bright, airy terrace room.

Stone Tower Winery

Most wedding venues have a couple ceremony sites. But Stone Tower Winery has four, and each is special.

For outdoor sites, choose from the Hillside or the Pond locations. The Hillside has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, and the Pond is backed by a rustic Port Wine Grotto.

If you prefer an indoor ceremony, you could choose the Tank Room to highlight the romance of a working winery. This unique space is lined by both stainless and oak barrels, full of delicious wine. Or for a more formal ceremony, the Ballroom is the perfect spot. A full wall of windows lets couples say their vows in while taking in the views

Riverside on the Potomac

Riverside on the Potomac has the rustic charm of a barn venue — without the inconvenience of sweltering temperatures! Although you can see sunlight streaming in from chinks between the antique wood siding, the building is discreetly wrapped in plexiglass. So the sun can get in — but the heat stays out.

The Waterfall Terrace and Patio right on the banks of the Potomac makes a scenic spot for the ceremony or cocktail hour. Say your vows accompanied by the gentle sounds of the waterfall. Dreamy.
