The wedding venues in Northern Virginia are all about the views. Rolling green hills and row after row of wine grapes make this part of the country the “Napa Valley” of the East Coast.

So it’s no surprise that couples in this part of the world are looking for outdoor wedding venues that take advantage of the great outdoors.

We’ve picked four of the loveliest wedding venues in Northern Virginia where couples can tie the knot — and have a great glass of wine at the same time!

Winery at Bull Run

Located in Centreville, the Winery at Bull Run is a rustic and charming working winery with beautiful views and scenery.

The venue has five different rental spaces that make beautiful backdrops for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Many couples choose to have their ceremonies at the “Hillwood Ruins,” a stone wall and chimney that looks out over the vineyard.

Inside spaces include the Barrel Room and Production Barn, where your guests can dine and dance under the supervision of the wine as it ferments and ages.

Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA is a high-end wedding venue with full service accommodations. The club can provide just about everything you need for your wedding, from seating to staff to food to the open bar. And it’s all in a truly stunning location.

The club’s historic manor house was built in the 1820s, and features classical colonial architecture that makes a lovely photo backdrop.

For the ceremony, most couples choose the Stone Garden where a historic stone wall looks out over the rolling hills beyond. And the reception ballroom is neutral and classic, ready for couples to put their own spin on the space.

The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek

The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek has weddings in its DNA — the owners first fell in love with wine on their own honeymoon to France over 20 years ago. Now, they make sustainable wine from 100% Loudoun County grapes, and open up their remarkable property to couples for their weddings.

There are ample places here for photos, from the rows of vines to fields of wildflowers to overlooking the pastures. Enjoy the house wine during your reception in the 175-person capacity Harvest House on site.

Bluemont Vineyard

All of these venues have jaw-dropping scenery. But we’ve saved the best for last. Bluemont Vineyard in Bluemont, VA may just have the best vistas of the Loudoun Valley of any wedding venue in Northern Virginia.

After an outdoor ceremony (because you’re not going to want an indoor ceremony here) the party can head to The Stable, a climate-controlled barn large enough for 200 seated guests. One lovely bonus — couples who book this venue will become members of their Wedding Wine Club and will receive member-only perks and a discount on food and wine at the vineyard!
