Today’s hotel weddings aren’t like the hotel weddings of the past. Au revoir bland food and soulless “ballrooms” that look more like corporate conference rooms. Hello luxurious spaces with fabulous views and chic details.

Terra and Christian’s September wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore was definitely the second kind of hotel wedding. There’s nothing boring about this stunning hotel right on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! And in the hands of Anna, wedding planner extraordinaire from The Other Side Creatives, the event got a serious dose of style. Photographer Tori Radick of Tori Co. Photography was on hand to capture all that prettiness!

There are two gorgeous outdoor spaces at this particular hotel. For their ceremony, the couple chose the Splash Terrace. Perched four floors up, this lovely space combines the urban cityscape of Baltimore, lush greenery, and views of the Inner Harbor in one fabulous balcony.

The ceremony site was decorated with sprays of dusty pink roses and pink baby’s breath to create an arch-like effect.

Terra and Christian’s parents and wedding party processional was accompanied by Pachelbel’s Canon in D. Then Terra made her entrance to Turning Page by Sleeping at Last. (This is a seriously great track off one of the Twilight soundtracks which tends to get overlooked in favor of Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years. But I digress.)

After the ceremony and cocktail hour, the party moved to the Grand Ballroom for the reception. This modern space got a dreamy glow from uplighting by Baltimore wedding DJ Mike “Q”!

The wedding party was introduced to Phil Collins’ cover of You Can’t Hurry Love, originally by The Supremes. Then Terra and Christian made their grand entrance to Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough by Michael Jackson.

For their first dance, the couple chose Lifetime by Justin Bieber. Then Terra and her dad danced to Dance With My Daughter by Jason Blaine, followed by Christian and his mom’s dance to  Ukochana Mamo by Drossel. Drossel is a Polish pop artist, and the title of the song translates to  “beloved mother.”

Once the dance floor opened, it was party time until 11:00 pm. The couple included a photo booth by Maryland’s DJ so the guests could capture the moment!

Terra and Christian stuck with a few of the traditional wedding moments with a fun twist. They did their cake cutting to Marry You by Bruno Mars, and a bouquet toss to Move B***h by Ludacris…cheeky choices!

Then they did an anniversary dance to To Dzięki Wam by Preludium, another Polish group. This song title translates to “it’s thanks to you.” For the last song, Terra and Christian chose the 80s jam Brother Louie by Modern Talking. Check out that music video to see the most AMAZING mane in the history of hair.

After that, there was a bubble exit and a fond farewell to the happy couple!

Baltimore DJ Mike “Q” was over the moon to help Terra and Christian to celebrate their special day. And he’d love to do the same for you! Fill out our quick contact form to get connected to DJ Mike or one of our other music pros and start planning the soundtrack to your happiest day!
